Minimalistic Nail Art: The Easy How To Video – LOOK

In this weeks issue we are absolutely head-over-heels for nail art. If you’re a huge fan too, pick it up and try our four simplistic, but ‘oh so’ chic styles.  It’s all about non-fussy nail art, keep it simple, very simple, with minimal flares and streaks and you’ll be bang on trend.

We teamed up with Rimmel London’s Global Nail Ambassador, Adam Slee, for our shoot and he took us through the steps of getting this squared off manicure. Move over dots, its all about squares for spring.

Grab Yourself…

Rimmel London Super Gel Nail Polish in Cocktail Passion, £5.99 to create your base, and Rimmel London Super Gel Nail Polish in Blue Babe, £5.99 for the squares. Then have on hand some masking tape, or nail art tape, try Sparkly-Nails Striping Tape, £1.50, it’s amazing for creating sharp lines.

Wear With…

Clashing prints- think stripes and spots. The model in the shoot wore a Jaded London Dress, £28 and was accessoried with an amazing array of rings from Byalona, Magpie On The Run and New Look.

Now all your have to do is click play on the video above and watch how to create the look. It’s as simple as that. We told you it was minimalistic!
