Fur Nails have actually taken the internet by storm after they earned their debut on the runway at fashion week.

Models took to the catwalk along with fluffy fingers – literally – at the Official Libertine prove to courtesy of CND founder, Jan Arnold.

Taking to Instagram, CND revealed merely exactly how long the cat enjoy creations took to make.

Sharing a caption of the Fur Nails, they wrote: “It took the CND Design Lab Group over 200 hrs to make the eye-catching nail designs for the @officiallibertine NYFW runway last night!”

But not every person is a fan, commenting on the nails, one social media user said: “Fur on nails? Really…”

While one more merely added: “Did she skin a squirrel?!? I can’t.”

“Yikes! Not sure exactly how we feel concerning these Fur Nails. I believe you could possibly recreate this by painting your nails and stroking your dog/cat,” one follower added.

It would certainly appear gone are the days of gem stones, glitter and nail art as we welcome this bizarre alternative in to our salons, or not.

And according to Vlogger – Davison – Fur Nails are rather simple to apply, every one of you reason is nail glue and well, erm, some sort of furry material.

We won’t be attempting this beauty trend anytime quickly though, we’re really hoping it doesn’t catch on.
