MEMORY loss may seem a normal part of the ageing process, but it should never be ignored.

That’s the message that will come through from Alzheimer’s Australia NSW on Wednesday in Leeton.

The organisation’s healthy brain ageing and memory van will be in town, with two free sessions to be provided at the Leeton Soldiers Club.

The first will focus on healthy brain ageing from 10/30am to 12.30pm, which will be followed by a light lunch and then a session with the memory van from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Topics will include an overview of Alzheimer’s Australia and its services, the brain, how memory and thinking changes with age, what dementia actually is, facts and figures five simple steps to maximise brain health and more.

There will also be time allocated for a question and answer session.
