Medical Needs Registry

The Functional and Medical Needs Registry is made up of residents who may require transport and medical assistance during a hurricane evacuation and have no other resources such as family, friends, neighbors, or church members to help them if they need to evacuate. Free adult swim lessons

The Chatham County Aquatic Center is looking for adults to participate in a free swim lesson program. The swim lessons are for adults that might not have the financial resources nor the access to a learn to swim program. Adults must show proof of income to qualify. Participants will attend eight, 45 minute lessons provided by a certified instructor. Learn to swim programs offer not only a life saving skill but also introduce the healthy benefits of swimming.
