Report of gunshots lands one man in detox – KXNet.com

Bismarck, ND -

Reports of gunshots last night ended with a lot of unanswered questions for police officers.
According to a police report, Bismarck officers responded to the 200 Block of North 20th Street around 9:30 PM.
A 28-year-old Bismarck man was reportedly shot in the arm.
Witnesses said a man with a bloody sweatshirt wrapped around his arm told them he had been shot.
The man ran away when the police were called.
Witnesses told the officers where they thought the man lived.
Officers found blood on the sidewalk and the door open at that address.
The man was passed out in the bedroom.
He had cuts on his arms and fingers but no gunshot wounds.
Police say the man was very intoxicated.
A neighbor told police he heard the man yelling in his house.
After he was treated at the hospital, he was taken to detox.
He has not told officers what happened.
