Is there anybody much more synonymous along with Parisian cool compared to Isabel Marant? (And by the way, that’s a rhetorical question.) At yesterday’s Fall 2016 runway show, the designer’s gang of bodacious tomboys took a headlong dive in to joyful ’80s club-child signatures love PVC pants, animal-print buckle boots, and Flock of Seagulls–esque quiffs—yet stopped short of attempting as well tough along with their makeup. Of course, that’s not to state that they didn’t dive in to their bag of beauty techniques for something un peu sexy for the weekend. The solution? A subtly darkened brow, a prompt of contour, and skin that took the tip of the French girl glow to the next level.
According to backstage pro Lisa Butler, conjuring that healthy and balanced radiance came down to one very straightforward trick: She swirled the exact same makeup brush over 3 creamed compacts of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal, Flower Gold, and Topaz prior to combining it over the apples of the cheeks, bridge of the nose, and cupid’s bow. The combination of the 3 sheer shades, which range from a pale gold to a blush-color metallic to a soft bronze, job to “gloss up” the luminous, fleshy top quality and “subtle shine” of nearly any type of skin tone. That’s it? “That’s it,” accepted Butler along with a smile and a shrug. “As lovely as they are, [Isabel’s girls] don’t truly love makeup!”
