It’s been more than two years since Rob Kardashian has appeared on an episode of his family’s reality show…but it looks like we’re going to be seeing him in Season 12 later this year. His family birthday party was reportedly filmed for ‘KUWTK,’ and it’s going to air in the upcoming season!

The 29-year-old publicly reunited with his family to celebrate his birthday last week, and if all the social media evidence wasn’t enough, we’re reportedly going to get a much deeper look into the evening when Keeping Up With the Kardashians returns next season. Rob, Kim, 35, Kanye, 38, Kourtney, 36, Scott, 32, Kendall, 19, Kylie, 18, Kris, 60, North, 2, and Penelope, 3, all met up at Nobu on March 19 to celebrate Rob’s big day, and it was the perfect family reunion (Khloe did not show up, but tweeted later on that she was feeling sick). And while the birthday boy hasn’t appeared on KUWTK since back in 2014’s 9th season, cameras were reportedly on-hand to capture the entire evening, so it looks like he’s making a comeback.
Of course, this major transformation for Rob is thanks to his new girlfriend, Blac Chyna, who he began dating earlier this year. She has quickly helped whip him back into shape, assisting in his weight loss of at least 50 pounds and building up his self-confidence day by day.

Interestingly, though, Chyna wasn’t present at Rob’s party — remember, she’s had a longstanding feud with Kylie, who’s now dating her ex, Tyga. “It was really a family affair for Rob’s birthday get-together dinner, so Blac wasn’t invited,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Rob’s also cautious not to have any unnecessary drama affect his romance with Blac. In that kind of setting, it wasn’t really appropriate for her to be there.” Don’t worry, though, the duo celebrated on their own with a PDA-filled trip to Legoland. So cute!
